Personal Trainer

The ideal candidate would exhibit the following behavior and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science related field including Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or Fitness.
  • Or IHRSA-accepted certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NSCA, NSPA, NASM and CSCS).
  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    CPR and AED certifications.
  • Working knowledge of all fitness systems and proper techniques and ability to repair non-working fitness equipment.
  • Ability to enforce operating policies and procedures in an effective and courteous manner.
  • Demonstrated customer relations/communications skills; ability to establish and maintain courteous and effective working relationships with co-workers, members, and guests.
  • Ability to read instructions and to document and report on work activities.

Male Housekeeping Attendant

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the club, and for responding to guest/member requests in the club’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding service.

Job duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Clean assigned areas including, but not limited, restrooms, shower/locker areas, public areas, exercise studios and equipment, and offices.
  • Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and equipment; vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets; washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors; removing and disposing of trash; and maintaining laundry room and equipment.
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms and bathrooms, including washing and drying towels.
  • Do minor maintenance activities such as changing light bulbs, and report major maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair, as needed.
  • Greet guests and members in a friendly manner and respond to cleaning requests.
  • Long periods of walking, bending/stooping, and pushing/pulling.

The ideal candidate would exhibit the following behavior and skills:

  • High School diploma/GED or one year of cleaning service experience.
  • Ability to use various cleaning products to clean assigned areas and equipment.
  • Problem-solving skills to perform the above essential functions.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner when interacting with staff, members, and guests.
  • Ability to read instructions and to document and report on cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds

$9.25 per hour with increases for performance.
