Fitness Philosophy

Basics are the foundation of any program. Without being able to master the basic movements required to move your body you lose the benefits that workouts and fitness can provide you. Master the basics. And build from there.

Personal Information

Courtney has had a passion for fitness and athletics her whole life. She grew up competitively swimming and coaching. During her collegiate career, she continued to develop her passion for the sport through pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and later on earning her Master of Science degree in Sport Science. Currently, she is an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bowie State University. Over the past few years, Courtney has developed and educated high school and youth athletes on the importance of strength and conditioning as related to their sport. Courtney loves the science behind fitness and is always incorporating the latest evidence into her training and recovery programs for her clients. When Courtney isn’t in the pool or at the gym she enjoys sipping on a classic margarita and eating her weight in chips and queso.
