Brian Aguilar is a lifelong athlete who played soccer throughout his life. After experiencing injuries that led him to step away from the sport, he discovered a passion for weight training. He now helps clients build strength, improve performance, and move with confidence.
With a background in athletic training and a strong commitment to fitness, Brian designs personalized programs tailored to each individual’s goals—whether that’s fat loss, muscle gain, or sport-specific performance. He emphasizes proper form, consistency, and accountability to ensure long-term success.
His approach blends hard work with smart training, creating an environment where clients feel challenged, supported, and motivated every step of the way.

Jayna Shirley
NASM CPT
Jayna is a dedicated coach who brings energy, intention, and passion to every session. With a background in gymnastics, she developed a strong foundation in discipline, athleticism, flexibility, and movement from an early age. She helps clients build more than just strength — she helps them improve the way they move, feel, and perform both inside and outside of the gym.
Her coaching style blends structure with a supportive, motivating approach, creating programs that are challenging, effective, and tailored to each client’s goals. Whether you’re looking to build muscle, improve flexibility, increase overall fitness, or feel more confident in the gym, Jayna is here to guide you every step of the way.

Patrick Ragan
CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Patrick’s journey into fitness wasn’t linear. Though he was active in his youth, he became increasingly sedentary during his teenage years. By age 24, faced with the loss of his physical capabilities, he made the decision to transform his health and never look back.
Early in his fitness journey, Patrick trained under the guidance of his brother-in-law, a certified personal trainer. Experiencing firsthand the confidence and foundational knowledge a trainer can provide, he was inspired to pursue a path where he could offer the same to others.
Patrick studied Exercise Science and Kinesiology at Anne Arundel Community College before earning his certification as a personal trainer. Since then, he’s been passionate about helping others reconnect with what their bodies are capable of—crushing old limits and setting new ones.
If strength is your goal, failure is where it starts… It’s about doing whatever you can, until you can’t.

Sam Collins

Sam struggled for years with body image and self-worth, and fitness played a key role in changing that. Through consistent hard work in the gym, she built confidence in herself and her abilities. Now, she helps others build that same confidence through fitness. She believes that everyone can reap the benefits of fitness and create a lifestyle that promotes strength, mobility and longevity. She realizes that everybody is unique and will develop a plan for you that focusses on muscle strength, growth and endurance to facilitate your fitness and lifestyle goals, so you can be the you, you want to be.

GINA MICHIE - GENERAL MANAGER
Gina has always been dedicated to health and fitness and helping people. She joined Edgewater Fitness as a member in 2013, and worked out there so much, she was asked to join the EF team as a Sales Advisor in 2016. Because of her excellent customer service, a Member Relations Director position was created for her in 2017. Fast forward to 2024, Gina has been promoted to General Manager at EF, where she continues to be devoted to assisting our members with whatever they need to successfully attain their fitness goals…cheering them on every step of the way.
Gina graduated Cum Laude from the University Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Sports Management. She was a nationally ranked diver on the UMass Womens Swimming and Diving team.
Gina loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys working out, all sports, cooking, entertaining and traveling.
